This weekend I had the privilege of serving residents of the Raleigh Rescue Mission along with fellow members of The Young Lawyers Division (“YLD”) of the Wake County Bar Association and additional WCBA members.

The YLD’s Public Service Committee organized an event to serve lunch for Raleigh Rescue Mission’s residents.

This project was an example of one of the many service opportunities for members planned for 2023. The YLD’s Public Service Committee is dedicated to full membership participation. In my role as co-chair I’m able to engage with leaders who are committed to active membership. I’m impressed by our members’ overall willingness to serve throughout the year.
