MC Skinner’s Experience with the Wake County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division

June 13, 2022

MC Skinner, associate attorney with McKnight Law, shares her experience with the Wake County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division. Skinner serves the larger Wake County Bar as Vice Chair for its Public Service Committee. The Young Lawyers Division Pro Bono Committee pairs with the Public Service Committee in various projects. The two groups are actively working together on a Driver’s License Restoration Clinic this fall.

The Young Lawyers Division is a voluntary membership for Wake County Bar Association members within 10 years of law school graduation. The Young Lawyers Division serves with many organizations to reach members and residents of Wake County. It also offers a space for camaraderie amongst new attorneys.

“Wake County is growing fast and I am so encouraged by my colleague’s dedication to practice in the area. I’m proud to be a part of this community. The Young Lawyers Division connects young lawyers so that we can share our unique challenges. These future bar leaders make up an impressive group of young professionals.”
